Jan has over 10 years professional experience in dealing with Human Rights law on a national and international level and has a wealth of experience as a Barrister dealing with domestic law in cases involving asylum, immigration, deportation, emergency applications to the High Court and EEA applications.
Having achieved a Master’s degree (LLM) with Distinction in International Human Rights Law at Essex University, Jan worked as a research assistant to the United Nations Special Rapporteur on Torture, and undertook fact-finding missions to Brazil and Uzbekistan.
He is fluent in German and French.
